Our Service is a large service licensed to care for 255 children and highly regarded as a "service of choice" in Brisbane. We have been rated as Exceeding in all seven Quality Areas in the National Quality Standards. Your role will include planning and delivery of fun and active programs for primary-aged children.

 

Successful applicants must be committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for primary school-aged children and also have the following skills:

​

  • Work as part of a team and acting as a role model to staff and children;

  • Good verbal and written communication skills;

  • Have a true passion for working with children (4-12 years);

  • Be able to build strong relationships with the children, parents, school, and community;

  • Be an outgoing, reliable person who has lots of initiative.

To be successful, you will:

​

  • Be available to work at least 4 or more shifts a week (Monday – Friday both morning and afternoon);

  • Hold a current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificate or willingness to obtain;

  • A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).

 

Hours of work are varied:

  • 6.30am - 9.00am Before School Care

  • 2.30pm - 6.00pm - After School Care

  • Various shifts  between 6.30am-6.00pm during vacation care
